Bray Emmets Vs Éire Óg
The Junior hurlers had a really enjoyable, tightly fought encounter with Éire Óg, Wed 27 May. The game began with a minute’s silence for John Ward’s Mum who died recently. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
The early exchanges involved the ever-improving Shane Anders, Colin Salmon doing the hard running and Danny Eglington in the busy half-back line. At the break, Bray trailed by 7 points.
The second-half saw an invigorated home side. Conor McNally kept a clean sheet and Daniel Kennedy’s work rate produced a fine point from a tricky angle. Paul O’Neill engaged tirelessly on his début, while Brian Duggan was a constant thorn in the opposition full-back line. However, despite the pitch of the battle, Éire Óg rightly celebrated their salty win. Bhain Uachtarán an chlub, Jackie Napier, an-taitneamh as an gcluiche.
Éire Óg 0-17, Emmet Bhré 1-11.

Bray Emmets Vs Carnew
The under 14 Hurlers travelled to Pearse Park Arklow on Wednesday evening for their league fixture against Carnew. Bray played into a light breeze and a low lying sun in the first half but managed to go in at half time just 2 points down with great defending from Tadhg McCarthy and Davy Maloney. The second half was a different story with the hard working Bray team taking full advantage of the now favourable conditions, great scores from Rory's Lambe and Mulcahy with some long range peach's from Maloney contributed to a final scoreline of 6:5 to 3:6 giving our under 14's a deserved victory. This was a great team performance with everybody in the panel contributing.
