U11 Hurlers travel to Thomas Davis
2 June, 2012
On Thursday evening the Under 11 Hurlers travelled
to Thomas Davis for their second match in their
Dublin League. Thomas
Davis proved a very tough assignment and were tactically very
astute, closing down Bray's normal play makers
and showed some great handling around the field.
Rian continued his excellent goalkeeping with two
extremely acrobatic and reactive saves, Rory although tightly
shackled around the pitch, managed to break free
several times to score. Davy also refused to be
subdued and managed to get onto the score sheet.
The Emmets lads are used to winning and this result came as a
bit of a shock, but they say you only learn when
losing and as the lads are quick to learn, this
result will stand to them.
