Junior Hurlers

19 June, 2013

The Junior Hurlers played an energetic, new-look Barndarrig on Wednesday, 19th June. This was a valuable, keenly contested fixture for a young Bray side. Early on, Barndarrig were reduced to 14 men but not until the introduction of bright young minor Ishmael Mnensa did Bray take advantage of that. Cian O'Byrne and Owen Brazil got good scores but the visitors were still leading at the break. In the second-half, both Shane Anders and Willy Nolan continued to give huge commitment, while Donnchadh Ó Midheach and Shane Lohan showed that they are players with promising futures in the game. Bhí díomá orainn ach bhí an bua tuillte ag an mBearn Dearg. Final score was Barndarrig 1-12 Emmet Bhré  0-9.
